Arche Robotics builds AI-powered robots for retail, hospitals, offices, events, cafes, and more. In a store, the robot takes a shopper to a department. In a hospital, it takes a visitor to a clinic. In an office, it takes a guest to a meeting room. At an event, it takes a guest to a stand.

The robots were already on site. The team had no single place to see them, watch them, or reach them. A person standing with a robot could not talk to it and be led to the right place. A new capability meant changing the robot itself, with nowhere to add it.

Prome Solutions built the platform for these AI-powered robots. The web side and the interface on the robot are two parts of it.

From the web, the team sees each robot: whether it is online, its battery, and where it is. They can open a live video from the robot, and open a session on it. When a robot sends a message, the browser alerts the people assigned to that robot. The history keeps the battery, the motors, the temperature, the air around the robot, and how long it was active. An administrator, an operator, and a customer each have an account.

Prome Solutions designed the whole experience on the robot, every screen a person sees and the path from one screen to the next. A person taps and talks. The AI listens and answers in a voice, and puts the reply on the screen. It can hold up a product, with its picture, its name, and its price. If the person asks to be taken somewhere, the robot asks them to confirm, then guides them there. The screen follows the robot: on the way, arrived, charging, lost, or in an emergency.

The marketplace is where an addon is added to a robot. The same robot can take on another job without a new build.

A person can talk to the robot and be walked to the right place, whether that is a department, a clinic, a meeting room, or a stand. The team watches the robots from the web, and hears from a robot when it sends a message. An addon can be added without rebuilding the robot.
